Globalization is the increasing interdependence, integration and interaction among people and corporations in the whole world. It is an umbrella term which refers to a complex of economic, trade, social, technological, cultural and political interrelationships .

Globalisation has become identified with a number of trends, most of which may have developed since World War II . These include greater international movement of goods, money, information, and people; and the development of technology, organisations, legal systems, and infrastructures to allow this movement.

Process of globalization affects all aspects of our life. And we can see it. Globalization is everywhere, in the central part of our city, in our night life, in clothes, which we choose to wear, in food that we want to eat in everything what we buy.

To be healthy is very important

  • Aug. 9th, 2009 at 4:44 PM

Health is the man’s greatest wealth. Only a healthy man can enjoy his life, work well and be happy. I strongly believe that a sound mind in a sound body. The first rule of the healthy life style is to have normal weight. There are two ways of controlling your weight: keep a diet and do exercises.

For many years, a typical diet has been too high in meat and animal fat and lacking in vegetables, fruits and grains. That is how normal person eats without knowing how to eat a balanced diet that later on erupt out into any kind of disease or health complications, like heart and blood vessel disease, not to mention a whole range of other diseases and in order to have an unsullied vigorous mind also.

You can make a huge difference to your heart and to your general health just by making a few simple variations in your way of eating habits. If you start making changes gradually in your eating habits you will see how many of these changes you can incorporate into your daily diet.

My Ideas About Blogging

  • Jul. 30th, 2009 at 8:18 PM

I think of blogging as one of the best possible tools for our generation, for developing relationships, and for improving search results. Blogging is not ‘writing a blog’. Blogging is linking and commenting. Any writing is a bonus. First knowledge, then analysis, then ideas. Regular posting is important…

Why not to create a blog (создать блог)? Blogging has lots of different perspectives. So hurry up and create your own one!

The Role of Television in Our Life

  • Jul. 10th, 2009 at 2:40 PM

In the first place television is entertainment. Sometimes for a family it is more convenient and less expensive to sit comfortably at home than to go out to find entertainment in other places. They don’t have to pay for expensive seats at the theatre or cinema all the time. As for children, they grow and develop; they take in information and acquire knowledge at a rapid pace from everywhere. As they develop their cognitive abilities, they assimilate new information and accommodate it to what they already know. Children's ideas about how the world works come from their experiences and from the attitudes and behaviors they see around them. The young child who believes that only women are nurses and only men are doctors may have developed this understanding because the first doctor he or she saw was a man, who was assisted by a female nurse. This "man as doctor, woman as nurse" idea may have been reinforced further by parents, books, conversations with friends, the internet and television.

I strongly believe that television will never drive theatre and books out of our life. Nowadays we should be selective and give preferences to what we really like, because there are so many newspapers, magazines, radio stations and TV channels.

Global career and job of interpreters

  • Jul. 6th, 2009 at 7:16 PM

Now we live in a global economy which is ruled by multinational companies. Economic and social changes are creating new market standards (productivity, quality, variety, convenience, timeliness). Meeting these standards requires great changes in organizational structures, skill needs, and jobs.

Now to make the global career one should poses a broader set of skills; "hard" (technical) and "soft" (interpersonal and communication) skills are equally important. The skills include managing information, resources, and relationships with people as well as self-management. The starting point, of course, is basic skills: reading, writing, computation, and, most important, ability to learn continuously throughout life. In addition, "global" workers need flexibility, problem-solving and decision-making ability, adaptability, creative thinking, self-motivation, and the capacity for reflection.

Thinking lots about my career

  • Jun. 26th, 2009 at 5:56 PM

Traveling, traveling, traveling... Now i'm finally home and start thinking about my career growth. Working as an expert of Internet marketing at youthmix.ru, I have been concerned with making sure that there are growth opportunities at my career. I think it is always important to learn and try new things. In many professions it is necessary to study constantly in order to be at the forefront of your field. People of many professions must be aware of the latest research in the field they work.

Nobody knows exactly what the future will bring us. The number one question on my mind is what to choose. Sometimes I find it difficult to make a definite choice, because it will affect me for the rest of my life. I’d like my future career to satisfy me, challenge me, and bring me joy. I would like my work to bring me satisfaction. I want to know that I am making a difference in this world and help other people. I hope to contribute to my country’s development one day.

Why do you think that the beach is a traditional summer destination for thousands of people? I hope everyone knows the answer because it is quite simple! Well, everyone dreams of going to the beach during the whole year until the summer comes! Sun is a magnetic lure for millions of people. Most of all I prefer combining sunbathing with visiting museums and different places of interest! I think it is the best way to relax to the full, mentally and physically. Am I right?
My friend, can you imagine yourself in a tent on the sea shore, enjoying the fresh air and the sun all day long? I am still full of impressions! The feeling is difficult to describe in just words... it is like in paradise!

Our Little Christmas Breakaway

  • Dec. 24th, 2008 at 1:36 PM

So, everybody, seized with pre-holiday hustle, make last-minute preparations before celebrating tonight's holiday. And guess what? I had my christmas eve yesterday night!))) The thing is my boyfriend has left for a business trip this morning. So, we decided to celebrate a bit earlier. In fact we had a traditional celebration with turkey, cranburry souce, mash potato, apple cider, cookies. But we can turn even the most quiet, traditional, family holiday into a Bacchnalia))) My boyfriend dressed up like Santa, made me sit on his lap and asked me if I was a good girl)) Then he was chasing after me with a christmas stocking on his head)))  And yeah, I got a beatiful necklace with a black perl from him... I loved it!
We had a great time.. I even miss him already)
Tonigh I'm coming over to my parents and going to have a very traditional Chrismas)

Merry Christmas everyone!

You know that TV-show "Exchanging Vows"… I believe they shoot it in England. For those who haven't seen it, in short, they take two couples that are going to get married. They ask every couple to plan wedding for the other couple from A to Z. That means, arranging the ceremony itself and the banquet, choosing wedding dresses for brides and tuxes for grooms, wedding flowers, cakes, the place for the ceremony, everything. The couple that wins (in case their competitors are satisfied with the way they arranged everuthing) goes for a honeymoon trip.
So, the other day I watched an episode and there was a couple, and guys were so frustrated, so disappointed. The bride was just shocked by the choice of the dress for her. She cried… I felt sorry for her. No really, I pictured just for a moment what would it feel like walking in her shoes… A nasty feeling, I guess. She felt the most miserable person in the world on the day when she just had to be so happy…
I think I would never trust some stranger to arrange my wedding. Only if it's a professional wedding planner)))
Why am I talking of wedding so much lately?..
P.S. Sweety, if you are reading this, don’t freak out))) I told you I can wait))) Luv ya)

A good saying, isn't it? In my life I often see convincing proofs for it. I can admit I often feel envy, it is really bad, but I'm trying to fight against this rotten feeling.
When somebody tells me there is nothing great in their life, it is a lie, indeed. Somebody can have a nice hobby like spinning the plates or dancing in an experimental performance crew. Others can have beautiful thick hair (while mine is rather thin) or white even teeth. Houses, cars, careers, marriages - you can never know what part of your everyday life can cause envy in your mates.
It is really disappointing, huh? Enjoying pleasures of life or the luck of possessing an advantage, I cannot but realize that somebody can be envious about it. If you say I'm paranoid, I'd agree to that!!!
